Trust me, I am finding the experience incredibly challenging...both professionally and personally. The big thing for me so far is that I can feel myself becoming more 'narrow' b/c I'm not being forced to consume 'all' news - Haiti is a great example, I guarantee my knowledge of that event is significantly lower than someone who has kept pace via printed media on a daily basis. As for holding coverage in your hands...yep, that is the definition of heartbreak! A Kate – thanks for picking up on the experiment.
