Another budding PR professional crossed our threshold last week. Louise Coles joined us for the full five days and she kindly wrote us this blog post about her time with the agency:
My time at Eulogy! was a fantastic experience. After completing my degree two years ago, I’ve done a fair share of work placements before, but never anywhere as exciting, refreshing or challenging as at Eulogy!
Unlike other placements which have consisted of extensive photocopying and whole days licking stamps (true story), at Eulogy! I hit the ground running. As soon as I got in the office one bright Monday morning I was reading the newspapers and brainstorming with the team. There was never a dull moment; whether pitching a story to National newspapers, or working on presentations to clients, there was always something exciting to do. That’s the thing about Eulogy! – the tasks were not only challenging and fun, but it also felt like I was contributing something worthwhile to the team, leaving me each day with a great sense of satisfaction.
Coming from a strictly non PR background, the experience of working directly on projects could have been pretty daunting. But not at Eulogy! The team was so friendly, approachable and willing to help that I had no issues whatsoever.
My time at Eulogy! has not only prepared me well for the next step in my career, but I’ve made great friends and earned even greater experience.
